United removes second seasonal flight
between Los Angeles to Sydney;
maintains daily service.
As part of our ongoing effort to right-size the network given the
unprecedented cost of fuel, United will discontinue the second daily
seasonal flight between Los Angeles (LAX) – Sydney (SYD) and will
continue with one daily flight between these cities.
Passengers booked on the discontinued flights will be re-accommodated
on our continuing daily service between LAX-SYD.
Effective Dec. 15 – Jan 17 LAX-SYD
Discontinued UA 827 (Departs LAX for SYD at 21:02)
Customers re-accommodated on UA 839 (Departs LAX for SYD at 22:13)
Effective Dec. 17 – Jan 19 SYD-LAX
Discontinued UA 826 (Departs SYD to LAX. At 13:30)
Customers re-accommodated on UA 840 (Departs SYD for LAX at 15:15)


この路線、ダッシュ４００での運航というのが燃料費高騰のおり採算ベースに合わないんでしょうね。
